Using lasers to connect a LAN between buildings
allows an enterprise to construct a low-cost, high-security,
high-speed data network. Designed to work at distances
of up to 500m.
By installing two laser beam units with an unobstructed line of sight to
each other, an enterprise can construct high quality, high speed, low cost
LAN connection between two buildings. The DT-30 deals with building movement
& temperature shift by expanding the beam diameter to 3500mm at 500m.
DT-30 accommodates a wide range of data transfer speeds from 10Mpbs to 156Mpbs.
Comes with built-in management capabilities via SNMP
and Telnet.
Permits construction of a high-quality LAN in locations
where an optical fiber network is not feasible.
-
Because the system uses laser light, it is free from
radio interference and offers excellent security.
Requires no radio frequency allocation, permits or
licenses.
Operating costs are limited to minor electricity
and maintenance costs only.
